3 Chord Construction |

Chord
construction and extensions of the 6
chord types: major, minor, minor
seventh, dominant seventh, leading
tone seventh (half diminished) and
diminished seventh. Also sus chords,
power chord, sus2 and omit chords.
Slash and hybrid chords and the chord
symbols used to express these chords.
Practical assignment: 1) Write the
chords in notation to a given set of
chord symbols 2) Examine the given
notes and apply the appropriate chord
symbol. Instructions on how to
identify and analyze chords are given
